The Spanish tile will be present at Coverings 2021, Orlando, from July 7th-9th, 2021.
Without the fair being celebrated due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tile industry returns to show its novelties in the most prestigious exhibition in the United States.
Tile of Spain, is the international brand that represents more than 120 ceramic tile manufacturers from Spain. Its stand, 4836 located in the center of the Spanish Pavilion, has already presented its program for this year:
1. Coverings Connected: Global Tile Trends 2021 – July 7, 11am
This session includes the participation of the design specialist and consultant of the Tile of Spain, Ryan Fasan, a traditional speaker at Spanish ceramics events in the United States. He will moderate a debate with important players in the industry on innovative designs, technology and materials.
2. Pavilion Special: Showstoppers – July 7 (2:30 pm) and July 8 (at 10:00 am)
Ryan Fasan will interview the heads of the Spanish brands, who will highlight the new products presented at the fair.
3. Pavilion Special: A & D / Contractors Presentation – July 7 (12:30 pm) and July 8 (3:30 pm)
Special session aimed at architects, designers and ceramic specifiers to explore current trends within the Tile of Spain proposals.
Multiple contemporary design solutions and educational seminars will be displayed at the booth. There will also be presentations highlighting award-winning architecture and design projects and an overview of the achievements of the Tile of Spain manufacturers.
During 2019, the US imported ceramic products from Spain worth 322 million dollars, 12.4% more than in 2018. Between the months of January and November 2020, imports of Spanish tile have reached 334 million dollars, which is which shows a growth of 13.82% in the interannual rate.
In this way, Spain is consolidated with a 22.8% share as the second exporter of ceramic tiles to the United States, only behind Italy, which holds 32%, according to Icex data.
Coverings will be held July 7-9 in Orlando.
